SS 304L Sheets have exceptional resistance to oxidation in intermittent service to 870 degrees C, and in continuous service to 925 degrees C. SS 304L Sheets have higher strength at high temperatures so are often utilized for structural and pressure-containing applications at temperatures above 500 degrees C up to about 800 degrees C. SS Sheets have superior machinability, superior corrosion resistance, and resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. SS 304 Sheets have exceptional resistance to corrosion in a wide range of chemicals, especially in acidic chloride conditions.
SS 304 Plates are exceptional in a wide range of atmospheric conditions and many corrosive media.
