What is stainless steel plate?
Stainless steel plates are generally low-carbon steel products largely used in numerous applications across major industries from construction to food equipment. These SS plates are designed and manufactured for applications requiring exceptional strength and resistance.
These plates are very durable and are highly resistant to stress corrosion cracking, pitting corrosion, and crevice corrosion. One of the major reasons for the ultimate demand for these plates is their ability to work under high pressure and temperature.
Stainless Steel Industrial Plates contain a minimum of 18 percent chromium content, around 8% nickel content, and can contain approximately 0.07 percent of carbon content in their overall chemical composition. These plates are made with pure SS to withstand extreme conditions and are also considered cost-effective. Stainless steel plates are reliable and possess various properties.
