What is a SS grade X2CrNi12 coil?
X2CrNi12 grade is stainless steel with a ferritic structure. These coils are high-level carbon and chromium-nickel alloys superior to martensitic grade SS 410 in terms of chromium content. Chromium at a concentration of approx.12% allows users to use the material as a building material in non-aggressive environments, including for decorative purposes. These grade coils contain around 12.5 percent of carbon content and around 1.5 percent of molybdenum content in their overall chemical composition. These X2CrNi12 grade coils are highly efficient and durable due to balanced chemical composition, easy weld-ability with standard methods, and relatively good mechanical properties in the annealed condition and elevated temperatures.
What are the key properties of SS grade X2CrNi12 coil?
These composition-grade coils combine good electrical properties with good strength and ductility, making them suitable for wire drawing. X2CrNi12 coils have moderate resistance to various corrosion environments and possess excellent properties like strength, toughness, weld-ability, flexibility, and structural stability. These X2CrNi12 stainless steel coils are extremely resilient and exhibit key functions required in several industries making them one of the most reliable coil products.
