What is the grade 310 SS plate?
Grade 310 is a medium carbon austenitic stainless steel alloy, especially for high-temperature applications such as heat treatment equipment. Grade 310 plates are higher versions of Carbon compared to grades 310L and 310H. Stainless steel plate type 310 is non-magnetic in the annealed and cold-worked conditions and is as resistant to corrosion as Type 304. Stainless steel 310 alloys are made of 25% chromium and 20% nickel which makes them highly resilient to oxidation and corrosion. Alloy 310 plate is austenitic stainless steel developed for use in high-temperature corrosion-resistant applications. The alloy grade 310 resists oxidation up to 1100°C under mildly cyclic conditions.
