About BSPL Stainless Steel 904L Sheet
Bhavya Stainless Private Limited (BSPL) has built a reputation for superior quality and customer service. Quality and attention to detail are maintained throughout each project in which we participate, and it is on this basis that BSPL has risen beyond its competition.
• This high alloy SS contains Cu, which enhances its aversion to strong decreasing
acids like sulphuric acid.
• On the plus, the steel is aversive to stress corrosion cracking and crevice
corrosion.
• It has a high content of expensive materials like molybdenum and nickel.
• 904L SS sheets are highly resistant to chlorine attack and warm saltwater. The
inclusion of substantial levels of nickel in grade 904L's composition accounts for
its exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking. The applications that used
to use grade 904L are now substituted with low-cost duplex SS 2205.
• Furthermore, Copper material addition to the grades enhances the aversiveness to
sulphuric acid and also decreases agents in the aggressive and moderate settings.
The corrosion resistance of grade 904L falls in between super austenitic and
austenitic grades.
Applications of Stainless Steel 904L sheets:
• The wiring of electrostatic precipitators.
• The Components of an oil refinery System for cooling using seawater.
• Gas scrubbing plants Paper and pulp manufacturing industries.
• Plants for the production of acetic, phosphoric, and sulfuric acids.
• 904L stainless steel (SS904L) is utilized in towers, tanks, pipelines and tubes,
and heat exchangers in the petroleum, chemical, fertilizer, and marine development
industries.
• 904L stainless steel is also used in sulfuric acid storage and transportation
equipment, power plant equipment, seawater heat exchangers, paper industry
equipment, sulfuric acid, nitric acid equipment, acid production, pharmaceutical
industry and other chemical equipment, food equipment, centrifuges, reactors, soy
sauce tanks, cooking wine, salt tank equipment, and dressings, among other things.
